This maintenance friendly product is the popular choice for both project and MRO procurements where performance and price are key. From the non-rotating stem design to the fully guided, solid stellite disc, this valve is designed and manufactured to handle the toughest applications. Velan supplies this product in A105, F22, F316, F91, as well as other materials for specialty applications, and in ASME pressure classes up to 4500#.

STAINLESS STEEL KNIFE GATE VALVES

Thanks to an integrally crimped soft seat, the Cv on the resilient-seated knife gate valves is significantly larger, increasing flow and potentially productivity. All 2-12" valves now come standard with an easy to use full-open / full-closed locking device—14-24" valves will soon follow suit. Standard packing has been upgraded to a PTFE/Graphite synthetic yarn for fluid compatibility for a pH of 0-14. The new knife gate valves also feature a redesigned handwheel, which is easier to grip and more comfortable to operate.
